We read and acted out the story "The Mitten". Ask your child to retell the story to you, they should be able to sequence the animals that go in the mitten: mole, rabbit, hedgehog, owl, badger, fox, bear and mouse. The students also completed many centres with winter animals.
After reading, retelling and acting out the story, we chose our own animal to put in our mitten. Flip it up to see what's inside. Letter and NumbersThis week we practiced /g/ and the number 5, both tricky, please practice at home too. I have emailed a copy of the February calendar to everyone but here is a pic just in case, for your reference.
