This week, the children made their own paper. They chose the colours the colour of 'slurry' and added flower petals, herbs and leaves. We will use it as a cover to our nature journal. I will post pictures of the paper when it is dry.
Our caterpillars have changed into their pupa stage, a chrysalis. The children were very excited. We wrote about it in our Butterfly Observation Book. More butterfly and caterpillar activities.
Where would you like to go? We have an airport in our room, complete with tickets, check-in, seats, food service and pilots.
The children have been watching the caterpillars grow, grow, grow! When we got them last week they were so very tiny. Now they are big and fat! All of our centers were around caterpillars. Ask your child what molting is.
