This week the children practiced the number 2 in their journal and learned the letter /g/. We continued to have many holiday and winter centres out. The students made patterned candy canes, put the correct number of balls on the tree, decorated gingerbread men with clay, put the alphabet in order at the light table and drew reindeer, PJ Day |
Matching the upper and lower case letters Matching cany cane stripes to stocking numbers. Each child decorated a christmas tree and then we put them altogether with the morning kindergarten class. "Better Togeter" A wraping centre, the children had to measure paper, cut it and use tape to wrap our boxes. It was a lot of problem solving! | Making beautiful pictures with plastercine. The students drew pictures about what they like to do in the winter. There are lots of snowmen, snow angels and snowball fights! They tried to sound out a word to describe their picture. Beautiful christmas ornaments and snowflakes. |
