This week we practiced the number 7 and the letter /l/. We have water crystals in our sand table. The children built many cool castles and 'paths' with mixed blocks. We also drew pictures of ourselves holding hands.
This week we have been focusing on numbers. We made 10 in many different ways and wrote the equation or number sentence to go with our drawing. The children drew pictures of a die they rolled and wrote the corresponding number.
We celebrated Valentine's Day by exchanging cards, making a mail box, painting hearts, playing math games with hearts and writing in our journal about who we love.

Chinese characters that the children painted using real chinese brushes made from goat hair. Dragon Masks- we will go on a parade next week with the masks and lanterns. Lanterns Food and chopsticks in house centre. Chopsticks are very tricky!!
