Better Together! This week we celebrated the french celebration Carnaval. There were so many school wide activities that we were able to take part in; Sugar Shack, Ice castle, Snow sculptures, Broom ball and hot chocolate. In our classroom, we made ice castles out of tiles and paper blocks. We worked on our fine motors skills by weaving sashes like bonhomme's, tracing and cutting out bonhomme masks. The students drew a picture of their favourite part of Carnaval in their journal. Awesome ice castle!!
