This week we enjoyed lots of snow centres. The children played and built in the snow, In our math centre, the children built 'snow' a tower, measured it and recorde how tall it was. There was a snowflake drawing centre, snowflakes always have 6 points! In our art centre, the children used pastels to draw a polar bear or snowman on watercolor paper the they painted a beautiful background with watercolor paints.They turned out Amazingly! The children were also working on making a snowman with a sponge and paint. GymnasticsIn gym, we are working on gymnastics. The children learned many 'movements' and balances. Some were very tricky, they really had to focus. BuddiesWe visited the grade 4 classroom to do buddies. Our grade 4 buddy taught us how to use paper and scissors to make snowflakes. We look forward to our next project with them.
