This week we explored measurement using sand, water and different shapes and sizes of containers. Which container will hold more? We also used scales to see which object weighed more and how do we get the scale to be even on both sides? CaterpillarsOur painted lady caterpillars have arrived!! They are So tiny but they are eating, eating, eating. The students drew a picture of the caterpillars in their Butterfly Observation Book. Ask them what the tiny black dots in the containers are. Next week we will learn about the life cycle of a butterfly. Zoo TripWe had our field trip to the zoo and it was Fantastic!! Here are just a few snapshots of the animals we were able to see. For some children it was their first bus ride and first trip to the zoo. Very Exciting! Thank you to all of the parents and grandparents who were able to volunteer for us, we couldn't do it without you. Painting beautiful spring flowers
