This week we had a visit from the dentist, a construction worker and a police officer. The dentist showed us how to brush our teeth, for 2 minutes, we even got a timer in our goodie bag from her. The construction worker let some volunteers help screw together some metal pieces and feed some wire through it. He showed us his tools he uses to keep himself safe, ask your child what they are. Constable Gemma Baker came to tell us about being a police officer and how we can keep ourselves safe and what to do in case of an emergency. We had lots of new centres out this week as well. Letters and NumbersThis week we practiced the letters we have already learned by playing sound Bingo and introduced /k/ sound, made by c and k. The students learned the number 5, it's a tricky number to print.
