This week we finished our community helpers unit by drawing a picture of what we want to be when we grow up. The students played a math game with dice, bean counters and a ten frame; they had to tell how many they rolled and then how many more to make ten. Our light table had shapes to make letters with. The children drew a picture in their journal of their favorite centre. Letters and NumbersThis week we practiced /e/ and the number 6. The students also did some math worksheets to show how many numbers they know. I made a number line on the floor and the students had to put the numbers in correct order on the line.
