This week the students learned about owls. We first talked about what the children already knew about owls. Then, we learned about their big eyes, their super great hearing, how they eat and that they regurgitate!! Yuck! Ask your child why they have such big eyes, and why can they turn their heads all the way around. We watched the story 'Owl Babies" and created our own tree with owl babies in it. Thank-you to the volunteers who helped the children with this project! In Our RoomThis week we learned a new letter, /t/. So we can read; sat and at! The children were very excited! We used the parachute in gym class which was a definite highlight. The children began to make faces with fun items too.
