This week we explored pumpkins. The children listened to stories about pumpkins, learned the life cycle of a pumpkin, drew and colored pumpkins and decorated a pumpkin with leaf glitter. We even watched a video showing a pumpkin grow to be 405lbs! Jolly PhonicsWe have started the Jolly Phonics reading program in our classroom. The first sounds we learn are /s/and /a/. Please practice saying the sound, writing the lower case letter, as well as singing the song and doing the action for each letter learned. Here is a link for the songs. Michael MitchellMichael Mitchell came to do a presentation for us today. We loved the songs and dancing! He sings songs about Canada. Here is a video of him at another school so you can see how much fun it was. Comments are closed.
