This week the students discussed how rainbows are made, they had lots of interesting ideas! Ask your child how rainbows are made. We also started learning about and reading fairy tales. We have read many different versions of The Three Little Pigs and fractured fairy tales such as: The Three Little Wolves and the Big Bad Pig, The True Story of the Three Little Pigs, The Three Little Pigs and the Somewhat bad Wolf. Ask your child to retell some of these stories. In math, we talked about counting down. The children played a game in which they rolled a number then count backwards from that number. The students also did a sound center in which they shook eggs that were filled with items from our classroom and they had to decide which item were in the eggs. StuffiesOur volunteers came back and helped the students finish their stuffies. Now they have ears, legs, manes, tails, crowns etc. Planting with BuddiesWe planted bean seeds with our buddies, can't wait to watch them grow. Fancy DayComments are closed.
