This week we celebrated Pink Shirt Day by sharing how to be kind and how to be a good friend. The children painted and decorated pink shirts, made bracelets and a kindness chain with the whole school. Rhyming is a little tricky sometimes, we learned how to identify and match rhyming words. Our grade 2s were raising money for polar bears, we bought polar bear cookies and dressed in white. Our class made beautiful polar bear paintings. On Friday our buddies helped us with making more polar bears. Letters and NumbersThis week we practiced /f/ and number 8. Number 8 was Very tricky for some students, please practice at home. We wrote in our journals about how we can be kind.
