This week we continued to learn about snow. We made snowflakes out of paper, drew snowflakes, played in the snow both inside our classroom and outside in our school yard. The students completed a snowman sequencing activity and made a crown out of the story. We also played bingo using some of the words and sounds we have learned. In gym, we have been doing gymnastics; learning how to move and balance using different parts of our bodies. On Friday we had a magician visit our school to teach us about how to be a good friend, it was Awesome!! Ask your child about it. How tall is your snow tower? The children built a tower out of cotton snow and measured it with cubes. Letters and Numbers This week we practiced the letter /m/ and the number 5. We also wrote in our journal about what snowmen might do at night while we are sleeping. There are some very interesting ideas! Snowman ProjectHere are the snowmen that I received so far, they all look great!!
