Tracey Kuffner came to our classroom to make wool stuffies with us. We started by drawing our stuffie in our journal After we created our animal, we put them all on the blind, sprinkled it with water and soap then we rolled, and rolled and rolled and rolled!! When we opened it up the wool had stuck together into a strong fabric. Tracey washed the soap out of the fabric, let it dry and then traced the heads and bodies on the students fabric. Our wonderful volunteers cut them out, stuffed and glued the heads onto the bodies. Next, the children will design the legs, ears, manes and accessories for their animals. I will post pics this Friday of them.
