The children had an Amazing experience this week! They got to make their very own stuffed animal with Tracey Kuffner. She brought in wool from her own sheep. There were so many different colours to chose from. The children made the felt from wool, they chose a base colour and then added eyes, a nose and details. The next step was to wash the wool by rolling it in a blind 5 times. The felts were then laid out to dry and the animal body parts were traced on. Our wonderful volunteers glued and stuffed the bodies. The children then added all of the legs, mouths, whiskers and details. They look Great!! Next week the children will draw a picture in their journal and write stories about their animal.
